2017 SCITUATE ART FESTIVAL
The Scituate Art Festival is held in the Village of North Scituate, Rhode Island every year on Columbus Day weekend. Our 50th
annual show will be held October 7, 8 and 9, 2017. The hours of operation will be Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm and Monday from 10am-4pm.
The Scituate Art Festival is a favorite New England Fall tradition that draws upwards of 100,000 visitors over the three-day
holiday weekend. We are honored that the readers of 'Rhode Island Monthly' have voted to award us 'Best of Rhode Island' designations six times (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016).
HOW TO APPLY: ART and CRAFT EXHIBITORS
Please read all information before submitting an application.
We are a juried fine art and craft show. We provide booth space only for the sale of fine art or craft created by the person
exhibiting the work. We do not provide booth space for the resale of work created by others (buy/sell), for the sale of work by
multiple exhibitors (booth sharing) or for any purpose other than the sale of fine art or craft. Artists and craftspeople are
expected to be present at our show throughout the weekend to interact with patrons. A complete list of exhibitor rules is included at the bottom of our online application form.
Our jury is comprised of professional artists and craftspeople as well as members of our Board. Acceptance is based upon the
quality and originality of the work as well as booth presentation. In order to ensure a balanced and varied selection of exhibitors
, we do limit the number of exhibitors accepted in any single media or genre.
Our booth spaces measure 10 feet across by 10 feet deep. Exhibitors provide their own tents and displays. Our booth fee for
the 3-day show is $300. In order to maintain the professional appearance of the booth throughout the show, exhibitors are expected to have a 3-day inventory of work to sell.
In order to be considered by our jury, prospective exhibitors must submit an online application and mail us a check in for the
$300 booth fee in advance. Our application requires uploading five digital images (jpg and no greater than 2MB): four of your
work and one of your booth set up with your work displayed as we could expect it to be presented at our show. Professional
booth appearance is an important part of our jury consideration and the booth image is a strict requirement. Please do not
send an application without a booth image. Once we have received your properly-completed application and a check
for your booth fee, your application will be considered in conformance and ready for consideration by our jury. For
conforming applications received by March 31, 2017, jury results will be mailed by May 31, 2017. If you are not accepted, your uncashed check will be returned to you with your notification.

Although antique vendors are not subject to jury selection, we do require that the quality of items for sale and the appearance
of the booths be in keeping with the professionalism of the Art and Craft sections of our show. The number of spaces in our
Antique section is very limited, and we rarely have an opening. When a spot does become available, we will update this website with that information.
