THANK YOU TO ALL WHO APPLIED TO EXHIBIT AT OUR 2013 SHOW!
2014 SCITUATE ART FESTIVAL
The Scituate Art Festival is held in the Village of North Scituate, Rhode Island every year over the Columbus Day weekend. Our
48th annual Show will be held October 11, 12 and 13, 2014. The hours of operation will be Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm and Monday from 10am-4pm.
ART and CRAFTS EXHIBITORS
We are a juried fine art and crafts show. We provide booth space only for the sale of fine art or crafts created by the person
exhibiting the work. We do not offer booth space for the resale of work created by others (buy/sell), for the sale of work by
multiple exhibitors (booth sharing) or for any purpose other than the sale of fine art or crafts.
2014 APPLICATION PERIOD:
Please check back to this website in early January when we will begin accepting applications for our 2014 Show. The deadline
for our first jury review will be March 31, 2014. All jury results will be mailed by May 31, 2014 and, for anyone who is not
accepted, your check will be returned to you with that letter. Acceptance is based upon not only the quality and originality of
the work, but booth appearance as well. In order to ensure a balanced and varied selection of exhibitors, we do limit the number of exhibitors accepted in any single genre.
HOW TO APPLY:
Once we have opened the application period, those who would like to apply to exhibit at our 2014 Show may do so in either of
two ways: by submitting an online application and mailing us a check for the booth fee or by downloading a pdf application form
, filling it out and mailing it to us along with a CD and a check. Links to both the pdf and online applications will be available on
this page at that time. Our application requires the submission of five digital images: four of your work and one of your booth
set up with your work displayed as we could expect it to be presented at our Show. Professional booth appearance is an
important part of our jury consideration and the booth image is a strict requirement. Exhibitors are expected to have a 3-day
inventory of work to sell. Once we have received your properly-completed application and a check for your booth fee, your
application will be considered in conformance and ready for consideration by our jury.
Although Antiques Section exhibitors are not subject to jury selection, we do require that the quality of items for sale and the
appearance of the booths be in keeping with the professionalism of the Art and Crafts Sections of our Show. Due to the limited
number of Antiques Section spaces, we have not had any openings for the past couple of years. When a spot does become available, we will update this website with that information.
Thank you for your interest in the Scituate Art Festival!
