Scituate Art Festival


ENTERTAINERS: Our 2019 entertainment schedule is fully booked. We are a juried fine art, craft and antique show, our entertainment schedule is limited by design and, as such, our entertainment budget is quite low. We feature local Rhode Island talent and, since many are crowd favorites who return year after year, we rarely have openings in our schedule. If you would like to be considered for any openings that may come available for our 2020 show, please email us in January, 2020 and we will forward your information to the chairman of our entertainment committee.

FOOD VENDORS: By policy, all food vendors operating on our grounds are nonprofit organizations from the Town of Scituate, Rhode Island. There are no exceptions to this policy. At the present time, we are at capacity for nonprofit food vendors.

ALL OTHER VENDORS: We are a juried fine art and craft show. We provide booth space only for the sale of fine art or craft created by the person exhibiting the work. We do not provide booth space for the resale of work created by others (buy/sell), for the sale of work by multiple exhibitors (booth sharing) or for any purpose other than the sale of fine art or craft. We do not provide booth space for the sale of mass-produced merchandise of any kind, catalog or subscription sales, food products (human or animal), body art, or other products, demonstrations, activities or services. Please note that the Scituate Art Festival is located on both sides of Route 116 at the village green. Vendors located on private property outside the official grounds of the Scituate Art Festival are neither part of nor affiliated with our juried show.

NONPROFIT BOOTHS: The Scituate Art Festival is run entirely by volunteers for the purpose of raising money for a variety of nonprofit and charitable purposes. We achieve our goals by providing an atmosphere devoted to our fine art and craft exhibitors and antique dealers. While we recognize and commend the good works of other nonprofit organizations, we are unable to accommodate the many requests we receive each year to provide or rent booths for purposes other than the sale of fine art, crafts and antiques.

VOLUNTEERS: The Scituate Art Festival Committee is the all-volunteer organization that produces the annual Scituate Art Festival. As you might imagine, it takes a large number of people with a wide variety of skill sets to produce this show. Some volunteers are active throughout the year and others work primarily on the 'five-day' (Thursday-Monday) Columbus Day weekend. We have people involved in overall administration; antiques; art & craft; communications; entertainment; food court; grounds; hospitality; marketing; parking; raffle; registration; and site mapping.  If there is an area that interests you and you would like to be a part of this great organization, please contact us for more information.
